Depends on where you actually live. I actually have an Okay Cupid, but I wasn't really impressed by the people there, or at least the ones who lived in my area. I concluded that the best girls simply live everywhere in the country except Ohio on that site. As for the girls who did live in my area? I've had three dates from that site, and all of which were not very good people for me. Then there was this other person that kinda made me leave the site. Like, as soon as I replied to her after her second message, she started trying to guilt trip me for not spending every waking moment of free time talking to her, like I was contractually obligated to do so, despite making it clear several times that I was not interested in her. I still get email notifications till this day, claiming she keeps messaging me. -_-; I hear Tinder is pretty good for getting a date fast, but its also kinda like... The chat roulette of popular dating sites, if you catch my drift. And Plenty of Fish or whatever that mostly had women in their 40s in my area, or just ones that were kinda batshit *ahem* "Eccentric". (Yeah, I am saying this, knowing full well I'm an otaku, an hvz player, and someone who claims to be a low level psychic.) Here, the only person I've actually met and hung out with in real life was Sugarcube Angel (Stormy), who was really cool, but sadly moved up to Columbus shortly after that, so I haven't hand the chance to hang out with her since, even if that was more of a friendly meet up than a date. Either way, given my experience with other dating sites, that so far makes this the most rewarding site I've used. I'd rather have a good time with likeminded individuals and make friends than go on bad dates with toxic people (And the occasional sane person who just doesn't click with me.)

Only dating websites I used have been PlentyofFish and this. PlentyofFish, being your typical site, didn't yield much. Supposed to be the one with all the users but most accounts haven't been touched for god knows how long. And most the people who waqnted to meet me where sketchy. I decided to pop here. No date yet but as of right now, I'm not utilizing it for a date. I'm looking for other anime fans. I have a good circle in my area but I want to branch out cause, you know: con meetups, cosplay new faces to talk about anime... that shit is hard to find here in my little Virginian city.

I remember some hobby website where you could join groups of hobbies you like, and then chat or meetup with other people with similar hobbies. Not Facebook or Meetups. I forgot the name of the website.
