What does the future hold for America?

xiao_hu
To celebrate my return to MaiOtaku after a long period of bizarre happenings in my life, I'm back to talk about the election. So I didn't vote for Trump, I voted for Johnson. Say what you want about Johnson but he was better than Hillary, IMHO. The Democrats and liberals really shot themselves in the foot with this election. If they'd had Gov. Kaine as the nominee, well, I think things may have been different. What the future 4 years holds for us, I'll lay out my research: We're going to get a Republican SCOTUS justice to replace Scalia. Not that big of a deal unless someone else kicks the bucket, then it'll be dangerous for decisions like Roe v. Wade that have already been settled. Trump is going to *try* to deport 11 million illegals. *try* is the word here. It costs on average 300,000-400,000 per person to deport them under due process, so I don't think the funding is there. He's gonna try to build the wall. It's over 2,500 miles he would need to cover, and it would cost nearly 1 trillion to do it so that it is 25ft high and goes 40ft underground, and would take 10 years. It will not happen. There's likely to be a continuous loss of liberal clout over the next 4 years. Expect the SJW culture, in particular to lose considerable ground. I'm okay with this. I'd like to be able to display my Buddhist 卍 flag without SJWs up my ass about how the 卍 is a racist symbol when it's been around for many thousands of years. Discuss further in the thread - preferably only high quality answers not any sniveling alt-right/SJW crap with groundless statements added.

I could go on rants but I too voted for Johnson. I don't care for anyone including Johnson really and I knew he wouldn't win but his ideas would line up with mine mostly. If I had a gun to my head and had to pick one I'd honestly have probably gone trump even though I'm LGBT (minority). In less than 24 hours he got Russia ready work with the US, Putin (say what you will) has crazy popularity ratings because he is what Russia's people want and that's what I'd want for our president (minus the nuclear crap). So overall he averted WW3, has claimed no desire to take down things the senate ruled (i.e. gay unions), and lots of other things people complain about. The reaction is insane. Sure, you can be upset. But children needing school "calming" sessions and riots prove what liberals have done to the US and that needs to change. I think Trump is too stupid to gain enough attention to actually do that much damage to the country. Killary would have caused a war inevitably with that "no-fly zone Syria crap". Having Russia on our side means NOBODY messes with us...that's huge. As far as immigration stuff and finances they both suck. But nobody who's here legally is getting deported and we do need stricter immigration stuff (see canadian policies). We're already the laughing stock of other countries and it wasn't mysogony or racisim that got Trump elected. It's the DNC and Clinton who single handedly sold out Sanders (who could've easily crushed Trump) but nope they ruined that. Another reason me (any many others have more spite toward her over trump). But Trump just talks out his ass on stuff, doesn't mean he believes or will do it. I say with Hillary we know what we'd get, zero progression, a tarnished rep. for any future female presidents, and possibly ww3. With Trump, well nobody knows. It's a mystery box, we'll see what happens. But I will admit that I HATE his VP. All these idiots want to get Trump "out" of office don't seem to realize who'd be president beyond that (he's the guy that ruins even Trump's rep.). He's racist, religious, and a bigot who preaches creationism. Okay, that got ranty, but that's my opinion despite it being the unpopular one lol. Bottom line: We're doomed and we would've been either way. Either we're loyal Americans or we really pack our bags and immigrate. Eventually the establishment will break and hopefully Trump does some damage before it all goes up in flames. I'd rather see a collapse than a war.

Oh and the wall thing...yeah I don't think it's happening. Both their immigration policies (if you wanna call em that) are trash. But if we do have a wall, it better be one hell of a wall and have solar panels and be made of some high rez metal that doesn't exist yet. Monument ya know. On a good note, weed got legalized in many other areas and I think getting that legalized in all states would boost their economies like crazy (look at the states that do and what they've been able to do) that could help us all get through the next 4 years and cure a few cases of cancer while were at it.
