New Death Note movie on Netflix?

Now, I know there are A LOT of you out there that love Death Note. What is your opinion about the new 2017 American Death Note Netflix movie? I, personally, am very excited yet extremely nervous... the casting is okay? I am not really familiar with the actors they have chosen BUT William Defoe as the voice of Ryuk? YES!♡♡♡ Okay enough of my rant ;-) What are your opinions??

I didn't even know this was a thing XD I don't like american live action renditions of anime, still yet to watch the dragon ball movie hahah, live action isn't really my gig to begin with but I guess with series like Death Note it could work...who is playing Misa-Misa? :p

OMG the Dragon Ball movie was AWFUL XP I don't even like being reminded of it.... Margaret Qualley? Thats who IMDB says is playing Misa-Misa or "Mia Sutton." I donno who she is but she's cute.

Lol yea its reviews like that which made me not wanna watch it :P She looks the part... minus the hair of course. Hmm... might be something to look into... but I dunno :P

I actually can't wait! I watched the Japanese versions of death note and to me they were disappointing. For some odd reason (in my own personal opinion) the Japanese are very skilled in making manga or anime which Americans really suck at when they try to make anime or comics. But Japanese kinda suck at making real feature film movies which Americans really excel at and are good at making. It would be cool if they would join forces to make manga or real movie films. Either way I can't wait to see how the Americans make the new death note movie! :D
