That 3rd playthrough blew my mind. You don't start over like the 2nd playthrough. It's a continuation from their "endings." It's essentially the sequel, and the events and story are fucking amazing beyond words.

Nier is good good. One of the best games I've played in a long time. I'm praying I can finish my 3rd playthrough before the 4th because everything in my life will go on pause when Persona 5 is released.

Also, Automata is my first Nier. I'm currently in the middle of my 2nd playthrough.
Lisanthur @sanfi I'm in the middle of my 2nd playthrough as well. It might be one of the best games I've played this whole year, actually. Nier was awesome too. One of the most emotional games I ever played when I was younger-ish. I was however really pissed that NG+ only went for the second part of the game. That properly screws up getting 100% in the game XD
