Yeah but ultimately we can't tell what they are saying/sound like directly. Its like I think to other countries who might prefer english to their own language because it sounds "different" or "cooler". I have to wonder if people in Japan watch anything in english? I mean I've been to China and some other areas and I heard a crap ton of american pop in stores ironically lol. Who knows.

But the subs are soo hard to find! Especially on that 4th season of GX...like I don't think it even was translated properly anywhere legit or not lol. I mean if you know a place where it all is I'm all ears. xD I didn't mind english but I grew up with stuff like this so guess I'm more used to it and consider it more "cartoons" not just anime (though I know it is). Some shows I mind, some I don't mind being in english. GX could have certainly had better voices I;ll grant you that and I didn't bother watching beyond that in english. But c'mon, was the original really that bad in english? Personal preference I guess but at this point I don't usually rag on anyone for preferring subs vs dubs since I like both and they're both valid.

I don't recall jayden ever getting glasses though? xD I was so annoyed that the 4th season didn't get translated...it was so hard to find it all online. But the yugi/jayden duel was the mean reason I hunted it down haha. The rest of it got...eh...weird? Yeah, let's go with that xD I really liked the first 2 seasons though.
