How Do You Get Inspired?

As the title says, I'm curious. How do you get yourself inspired? Right now I'm trying to do more writing and what-not but sadly I'm having a horrific writer's block and it's always a pain when this happens. I want to know other people's ways on how they get motivated to be able to do things or to get past a certain block. For me I usually have ideas spring to mind that really jumpstart my zeal but after a little while I feel like I've hit a dead end and it's difficult to continue. So I'm curious - how do you get motivated and what keeps you motivated? I think it'll help a few people out.

hmmm not sure about writing :p weirdly enough my inspiration to paint or draw comes from discomfort and sorrow XD when im content with life that's when i have art block >.>

I personally get inspired right before I'm about to go to sleep, which sucks because by then I'm too sleepy to write! Other things I can use to get inspired to write are by watching a good anime or listening to a specific kind of music that fits the theme of what I want to write.

Music inspires me that and reading. I'm always doved into a book nose deep. O.O but if I listen to some good old music. Maybe some Celtic or symphonic gothic rock. Sometimes it Spurs my thinking cap. Or even watching an anime :). I know how writers block feels. It sucks. I got it so bad I couldn't pick up the novel I was writing almost 6 years ago or so. -_- now I mainly write poetry, but I need inspiration. That and I sing to myself. Great for brainstorming.

Watch the weirdest shit you can find on YouTube. By weird, I mean to watch things you normally wouldn't care about. Inspiration is fed by exposing yourself to more things. Feed duh brainnnnn...

Welp I guess I could try these things out a lot more and see if I can spark something really cool o/ It's annoying really because I have a lot of ideas I want to bring to life but it's just difficult trying to drag myself to actually make those ideas :I Highly frustrating if you ask me.
