sevengreen7
Haha okay Oldtaku, but do you know anything about computer programming or software development
meijirurouni89
Unfortunately, no. Im afraid I missed that boat. I did however take graphic design classes back in college.

Yeah, I'm serious about computers. I have a mid-2012 Mac Pro tower, MSI GX60 gaming laptop, late 2008 MacBook, late 2005 G4 Mac mini... I basically seem to collect computers. I plan on learning computer programming at some point in the future but due to personal circumstances cannot do so now. I'd love to talk to some people about computers. Haven't been able to in awhile...

I'm a programmer, I've got an iMac (late 2008), a shitty HP laptop, a desktop I built myself, a powermac, and some kind of macbook I've not touched. But I do most of my work on the HP laptop. I know quite a bit of junk. I'm currently in college majoring in web development, but my real interest is just code in general. I know perl, python, java, tiny bit of c++, ruby, probably some other crap but that's all I can think of off the top of my head. I'm also trying to get into graphics and shit but I'm not too good at that yet.

I don't want to say I love computers. But my job is IT so.......

Only know a little about it but usually starting out with Alice, did a little on the loop or some equation instruction, some bit of hardware and software. As for Java a no since most professor is lazy to teach computer. Most of them are self learn. I gave up on CIS since too much to followed.

I love using and fixing up computers but haven't gotten much into programming yet. Programming does look pretty fun though and I've taken a few courses that I've breezed through. Easy As! I have some experience putting together desktops, taking apart my own laptop and modding it (custom heatsinks to make it cooler so I can game for longer periods), and messing about a lot on Windows and Mac. I just applied to work in the IT dept at my University, that would probably be my dream part-time job at the moment. I am taking a break from my last major job (teaching English overseas) and just want something small to make some decent pocket money while doing what I love. About half the people that work there are my friends so I'm sure the bosses will hear plenty of good word. If I were to build a desktop, it would be a serious gaming machine so Windows is essential. For laptops, I currently prefer the one I have, the late 2013 MacBook Pro Retina 13-inch. Perfect size for me and a beast of a machine as long as it's not gaming, heh. I did play Modern Warfare 2 on it for kicks though and when I hit join server it already loaded the map in a split second. I'm betting it's the solid state drive. It usually takes between 2 to 5 minutes to load on my friend's laptop because he has an HDD rather than SDD even though he may have the better GPU. I will never go back to just using an HDD after experiencing how fast and mobile solid state storage is.
