so i'm doing my online advance studies and i'm doing my applied math 40s i'm a little bit lost but if someone could give me a hand that'll be great! the question is State an equation of a sinusoidal graph with the following properties. The central axis is at y = 5 Two consecutive minimums are found at (3, −1) and (13, −1) to be honest i quick read/ scan my modules but if someone can give me a hand i'll owe you big time ! :D and i just want to enjoy my summer vacation soooo pleaseeeee

are you looking for the answer or an explanation? well, you kind of only know the minimums, it looks like, but you know that the period is 10. I've never heard of central axis. but would that be similar as the y axis in this case? . So, since it isn't y=0 but y=5, it means that it shifted up 5, correct? So we have the k. For horizontal shift, you just have to use some algorithms and figure it out. Basically, since the point (0,5), (usually it's point (0,0) but there's a shift. it doesn't matter since we're looking at the x axis anyway, though) isn't a minimum, maximum, or 0, you kind of have to shift it yourself. Looking at it, there are two ways it could've horizontally shifted, +3 or -7, which is the h! The rest of it is too rusty for me, unfortunately. I haven't taken a math class since the second semester of college. GOOD LUCK THOUGH!

I forgot to add the amp. So if the center line is y=5 and the minimum is y=-1, then the amp is 6.

Since everything is figured out, you can just go ahead and plug it in to the template equation. Good luck!
