Does anybody still cry?

animekid
I just finished an episode of Mashiroiro Symphony with a sad scene and got me to wondering. Does anybody past high school, since we're still developing emotionally, cry/feel the urge to cry when they realize someone they're starting to like/already like, likes somebody else?

I'm still at the age group that's in high school, and I don't, I want to alot, just lost the ability I suppose. Crying is a good thing though, It shows emotional openness, Great way to get rid of stress and just show others how you truly feel. But the answer to your question is obvious, Yes plenty of people do, It's a normal thing. I don't know if your just trying to get attention or something, but if somehow your not, Yes it's quite a normal thing to do. Not trying to bash you or anything, but this is common knowledge bro.

Yeah I'm not just trying to get attention. I've never really been interested in anybody that much so I don't really know. I would think that sometime after highschool that people would grow emotionally enough that they might find out more about a person before feelings get far enough that crying would be a response.

Crying is just an emotional release. Some need it more than others, and some antiquated upbringings (for males) teach you crying is for women so you do anything to not cry, even when dealing with pain. You may grunt, scream even lash out agressively but you avoid at all cost that emotional outburst to avoid looking weak. Times are changing in respect to this but some people still teach this to young men. But everybody cries, its normal, whether heartbroken or just in so much pain that tears come out, you will cry sometimes no matter how hard you fight it. Its all a matter of how much of an emotional person you arenos my way of looking at it.

Its just normal to cry after all it allows us to show how we feel even if its a sad emotion at least it shows us that we can be sad

I don't cry from watching things, but I will cry and shed tears in public if my parents scold me or put me on the spotlight... It's part of my anxiety making me extremely sensitive and stressed in such situations that I feel helpless in.

I cry all the time ¬ ¬ well, not all the time, but it doesn't take much to set me off. Clannad After Story did it the first time, Chrono Crusade...Can't think of more from the top of my head, but yeah, those two did it. I can be set off by normal films and TV series too, and boys, obviously ¬ ¬ Life in general too~

I think the last time I really cried (like REALLY cried because I couldn't control my emotions) for something was when my youngest sister was born. I was 14 when it happened and I have no idea why I cried, I still don't to this day, especially since I've a younger sibling that's older than the youngest one too. I didn't cry when Nicole (second youngest) was born, but when Liss(youngest) was born, I did.
