In my opinion after Gen Urobuchi passed the anime on to someone else, the quality of the story went down hill and half of it doesn't even make sense. Even Urobuchi said in a tweet that he didn't want the 1st season to end like it did. I still watch the anime every time a new episode comes out but damn...I hate that anime but I'm too invested, I NEED to know how it ends.

I hate the new season, I hate the way season 1 ended, it's like everything up to the last two episodes was absolutely amazing and then BAM! failtastrophe

Well i'm pretty sure he wrote the first episode and then handed it off didn't he? :o I'm sure if he stayed on the writing staff it would of ended up better.

lets see where season 2 goes before you pass final judgement. season 1 ending was definitely a wtf moment for me.

A better reason I stayed away from "Mecha" after gurren Lagann. That was the best one.

i like the anime but i dislike that there only 2 super power's atm inaho and slaine they should add some more intresting characters that stand out couse there way to overpowerd i watched allot of gundam there it is a struggle most of the time its awsome to see them struggling couse it also show emotion's but this might still come

I really want to learn more about the captain and her first officer. But i doubt it will happen.
