Voting

Who is going to be a "responsible" American and vote tomorrow? They say if you don't vote you can't complain. Of course on the other side you're really only electing one of the two people who aren't going to listen to you. But it's either Democrats or Republicans. Donkeys versus Elephants. Liberals versus Conservatives stomping over moderates. Or you could say some (most likely) rich white dude versus another (most likely) rich white dude. Who will control congress? The do-nothing Republicans or the whiny liberals? Will the bad guys win or will the guys with good intents but weak executive people(you know the ones) win? Why are you even reading this? GO OUT AND VOTE.

What is this "Voting" you speak of?

It's a process in 'Merica that gives the illusion to the people that they have any say in the matter of who's allowed to be in power, not realizing that unless you have at least 7 figures as a monthly income you have no influence in any political scene

Big business just give donations (bribes) to get lawmakers to vote how they want. It doesn't matter who we vote for, we'll never have universal health coverage the same way many European countries do and an affordable cost of living, because the Military Industrial Complex runs everything, including the bankers, pharmaceuticals, oil companies, telecommunications and such. The rich only care about getting richer at our expense and it's never enough money for them. Everything else is just window dressing to give us the illusion that we can make a difference.

Mav, it's a midterm election. I'm glad that there was even a turnout. Also, I see a lot of voter apathy on this thread. Is there any real reason why you decided to not vote? Any deciding factor?
