Epic Battles

So this game is fairly simple. I will start out with two characters. These characters can be from anything. Anime, television shows, movies... anything at all. These two chosen characters will then have a battle to the death. The VERY NEXT poster has to write a story explaining HOW these two characters met and WHY they're fighting. Be creative, have fun. Afterwards, that person will pick two characters and the game will continue. I will start out something peoplease should he familiar with. InuYasha vs. Spike from Cowboy Bebop

Spike has been sent through a wormhole to feudal Japan and takes a job as a demon hunter. Inuyasha and him are looking for the same demon but Spike gets possessed by Naraku and fights Inuyasha. Someone else continues

Awh, come on guys, put some thought into it. "Spike and company are heading to earth to capture one of their highest bounties yet, Captain Faine Marlosi of the Silent Society. While traveling through hyperspace, an electomagnetic cloud disrupts their sensors, causing panic. Ed tries to fix things, but somehow crosses the wrong wires and... Blackout. The ships reserve kicks in, lighting comes back but they've stopped. They look out their windows to see the hyperspace track is no longer there, and they're just floating along. They kick the engines back on and attempt to land at the first planet they see to assess the damages. Once landed, they look around them and view this planet. It looks like earth, but somehow... greener. The group decides they should look around. Jet and Ed decide to stay back and check out the ship, while Faye and Spike look around. The two come across a large city, bustling with activity. Everything looks unusual, from the cars to the clothing. Where are they, they ask each other. The two find what appears to be a shrine and decide to enter. Upon getting to the enterence, a girl slams into them. She apologizes profusely, and faye tells her to shut up. Shocked, the girl stops. Faye asks the girl where they are and she tells them Japan. The girl realized they weren't from around there because of their clothing, and started to introduce herself. The girl tells them that her name is Kagome, she would stay and talk, but she's late for class. Kagome trying to rush out the door, Spike slams his hand across the doorway, blocking her path. He tells her there is no way this could be Japan, let alone Earth. He's been to Earth, and this is much to different to be such. The group hears somebody say "Hey Kagome" as a mysterious figure turns the corner to the door. Everybody turns to look at them. It's this guy in a long red robe, nothing of what they've encountered thusfar, long, silky white hair, and what appears to be a sword at his side. Spike draws his gun. "Who the hell are you?" shouts Spike. In a panic, Kagome screams, making this mysterious man draw his sword. As the sword comes out oh its sheath, it appears to grow larger. Faye draws her gun as well. "Let go of Kagome!" The man shouts. "Inuyahsa, help!" Kagome pleads. Faye shoots Kagome in the leg to get her to stop, which provokes Inuyasha to slash her with his sword. A bleeding out Faye falls to the ground, as Spike fires at Inuyasha. Bullets pierce the robe, but no harm seems to come from this. Spike, shocked, continues to fire through the robe to no effect. Inuyasha swings at spike, spike jumping out of the way. In order to gain cover, spike runs behind the nearest tree, only to find Inuyasha to cut right through it like a hot knife through butter. Spike fires a few shots, hitting Inuyasha in the arm, causing him to drop the sword. Spike then runs to grab this sword and stands in front of Inuyasha. Shocked, this sword seems to be nothing more than a rusted piece of garbage, how could this cut through a tree?! Spike attempts to shatter the rusted sword, causing the sword to eventually break. Inuyasha starts to panic as he watching Spike break it, and charges at him with his claws. Spike and Inuyasha grapple and finally... *Bang* There is a gunshot. There lies kagome on the ground, gun in her hands. Spike realizes that she had shot him and fades to black. Inuyasha asks her if she's alright, hugging her. Kagome nods as Inuyasha picks her up and carries her inside. Next fight: Godzilla vs. Robocop.

omg not gonna read all of that... all i read was godzilla vs robocop at the end..... seems like a pretty uneven fight though

I mean, if you could come up with at least an interesting match I'd be inclined to write something. I do write short stories. but this? this is just not even fair
